Beth

My name is Beth, I am currently a Funeral Director Intern with Compassionate Cremation Society. I have lived in the Tri-Cities area my whole life. I am just starting my journey as a funeral director as I was given this opportunity in October of 2022. 

I started my career as a Certified Medical Assistant and have worked at several local hospitals in many different specialties. I left that life behind when my husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world, and I decided to be a stay-at-home mom. We are a family that loves camping, fishing, kayaking, and backyard BBQs. I love to paint and craft; I also love gardening and am told I have too many plants…one more won’t hurt. We have 2 dogs, 3 chickens and a turtle, not exactly conventional. 

I’ll be honest, I never saw myself working in the funeral industry. I do love to help people and I love the satisfaction of knowing I made someone feel better in an uncomfortable or tough situation. I learned quickly after accepting the job with Compassionate Cremation Society that that’s exactly what this job entails and it feels nice to help people in our community during some of the toughest times of their life.
