Bret Charles McInturf

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bret Charles McInturf, who left us on August 10, 2026, at the age of 38.

Bret was a kind, loving, and big-hearted man whose presence could light up any room. He had an amazing smile that was impossible to forget and a warmth that made people feel cared for and loved. Bret had a heart for helping others and would do anything he could to lend a hand to someone in need.

Bret was also an avid gamer who found joy, friendship, and connection through the gaming community. Online, he was known by many as "Kale." He made many wonderful friendships with people from all over, and those friendships meant a great deal to him. The people who knew him as Kale knew his humor, his kindness, and the unique person he was. He will be deeply missed by his gaming friends and online community.

Above all else, Bret loved his daughter, Lillyanna, more than anything in this world. She was his greatest joy and held a very special place in his heart. His love for her was unconditional and will forever live on through her.

Bret will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter, Lillyanna McInturf; his mother, Holletia McInturf; his father, Gabriel Rocha; his sisters, Erika Simmons and Scharlie Wiessenburger; along with extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we will forever remember Bret for his beautiful smile, his generous heart, his willingness to help others, his love of gaming, and the love he had for his daughter and family.
